I had the red covers installed over the original lamps, only over time they degrade and the light was no longer carmine. These LEDS fit and worked perfectly.

Am i supposed to take the bullp out of the socket to replace with LED?

Thanks for your question. If yous are replacing one of our incandescent bulbs that came with your judge, such equally the 3220 lite assembly, then yes you remove the incandescent bulb from the socket and put the LED bulb in.

Thank you for your question. No, this seedling is non compatible with the 5" pro-cycle tachometer. Yous would want to use our bulb #3294.

Thanks for your question. Yes, this volition work every bit a replacement/upgrade to the lights in the Sport Comp series. Delight note: it is not compatible with the Sport Comp 2 series equally the LEDs in that series are built into the circuit board.

Thank you for your question. #3284 red led replacement bulb volition work on the 5" Phantom in dash tachometers, where the light is installed in the back of the judge. On the pedestal tachs, which have the low-cal installed on the front, would use would use part #3294 scarlet led replacement bulb.
